Simuna-Laekvere rahvajooks

The Simuna-Laekvere Fun Run is a traditional amateur race held every other year, alternating between Simuna and Laekvere. The course follows paved roads, with rolling sections and some climbs, offering participants a varied running experience. The event is friendly and well organized, suitable for both experienced runners and recreational runners, and offers a sauna and hot soup after the race. There are usually around 100 participants, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Age categories are awarded, and the first ten finishers receive a race shirt.

Participants are offered a sauna and hot soup after the race. Awards go to the top three in each age category, and raffle prizes include a bicycle and other surprises. Bus transport between Laekvere and Simuna is provided before and after the race as needed.
