Meie oma maijooks 2026

Our own Maijooks 2026 is a traditional running event taking place on 1 June at the Kolga-Jaani School stadium and sports fields. The event offers different distances and age groups suitable for runners, Nordic walkers and recreational exercisers of all ages. Its aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle, offer an opportunity to compete, and celebrate family-friendly activities in the Kolga-Jaani area. Participants can enjoy a pleasant evening run on the light-traffic road and at the stadium, with recognition for the best runners and representatives of the area.

The event includes children’s races for those up to 7 years old, with no results recorded, a 1.5 km youth race and a 4.5 km main race. Nordic walkers may take part in the main race. Entry fees are paid and race numbers collected at the registration tent on race day. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the youth and main races, as well as to the best local participants with a special award. The races take place at the stadium and sports fields; registration is required; free for children born after 2010.
