E-Lux Peetri Jooks

E-LUX Peetri Jooks is one of Estonia’s most vibrant mass-participation sports events, bringing together running enthusiasts of different ages and abilities. The main distance is 10 km, with timing and awards for the top finishers, but there is also a charity run, a youth run and children’s races. The event takes place in Peetri and, in addition to running, features a large expo and market area with various vendors and entertainment. The charity run supports the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation and, through it, children with mobility impairments. All finishers receive a cool summer medal.

The virtual run lets participants choose their own distance, time and location, and virtual runners receive a medal and prize-buffet products delivered to a parcel locker. Children’s races are untimed, with no rankings—all participants are winners. The event also features a large expo and market area with handicrafts, farm products, sweet treats, sports equipment and a children’s area. Volunteers are offered a hot meal and a goodie bag. The event includes an exhibition and community gathering, medals for finishers, and various categories for all age groups.
