Aastajooks

Pärnu Year Runs is a running series that began in 1985, inspired by the Eastern zodiac calendar and dedicated each year to the animal symbol of that year. The theme of the 2026 series is the Year of the Fire Horse. It consists of nine stages held at three locations in Pärnu: Vallikäär, the beach, and the Reiu-Raeküla health trail. Three stages take place at each location, offering a varied and enjoyable running experience. The series is organised by the Pärnu Two Bridges Club, which invites all running enthusiasts to take part and enjoy an active summer in Pärnu.

The stages take place throughout the summer, starting at 18:00. Participants can purchase a season pass or register for individual stages. The organisers also offer the opportunity to volunteer. The series rules provide more detailed information about moving along the course, equipment, and safety. Participants can take part in different age and distance categories. Registration is open, and the event takes place at the beginning of summer each year.
