71. Viljandi Linnajooks

The Viljandi City Run is a traditional distance race held every year on the second Sunday of October in the city of Viljandi. The race follows a route around Lake Viljandi and is one of Estonia’s oldest sporting events, attracting top runners from across the country. In addition to the main race, several mass-participation events take place, including children’s races for different age groups. The Viljandi City Run course is 10.4 km long, offering an athletic and lively experience for both recreational and professional runners.

Children’s races for ages 5–6, 7–8, 9–10 and 11–12, free of charge and without timing. The 5 km fun run starts at 11:00. The award ceremony takes place at 14:00. Registration and race-pack collection at Vabaduse Square from 9:00 to 11:30. The race route closes at 14:30. Race day begins with registration at Vabaduse Square at 9:00, and events run until 14:30. Participants receive medals, and children’s races and a recreational run are also held as part of the event.
